The Fallen and Concerns

Sadly, this week we lost a member of the program. As I said last post, attending the gym to train can be strenuous and time consuming. I regret to inform that the low rep and high volume trainee has officially left. His numbers ended at a squat of 225 lbs, a bench of 165, and a deadlift of 225. Although he last left the program, I still plan on using his data points in order to prove/disprove my theory of training.

On another note, one of the trainees brought up his concern of aesthetic. On of his goals for the gym is to look good. Although this is understandable, it is not the goal of the project. Aesthetics falls under the branch of bodybuilding. Bodybuilding focuses on muscle toning and includes a series of strict dieting, sculpting workouts, and cardio. With this project, all we are doing is the three lifts and 2-3 other exercises that help the three lifts. In order to fulfill the trainees goal of aesthetic, he must take his diet into account and make sure to both limit his food intake, all while consuming the sufficient amount after the high intensity workouts.
